Coolant Recycling Systems (CRS) Standard Models & Specifications
The patented CRS systems are complete and include a filter press pretreatment module, and a HEEPM™ module with nanofiltration (NF) and HEED® units. (HEEPM™). The HEED® and NF components and associated hydraulic and electrical equipment may be mounted on a single epoxy coated steel skid (as illustrated in the Model 75 photo to the right) to facilitate field installation or the two modules are provided on separate skids for larger production rate systems.
The table below summarizes standard CRS systems for desalting pretreated antifreeze. The production rates based on typical used antifreeze from vehicular sources in the Southeastern USA - which is typically 40% ethylene glycol (EG) in water, and contains ~7900 ppm TDS of a variety of ionic species. Production rate is based on a purified EG/water base fluid desalted to a concentration of 250 ppm TDS. A higher degree of purity (<250 ppm TDS) or higher salt content (>7,900 ppm TDS) in the pretreated antifreeze will reduce the production rates.
